Cathy L. Tuttle

Cathy Love Tuttle, born on January 29, 1959, in Union County, North Carolina, to Jason Clifford Love and Willie Dulin Love, passed away on August 8, 2026.

Cathy was a kindhearted woman with an infectious laugh, a funny and playful spirit, and a remarkable ability to find happiness in the simplest things. Whether she was feeding ducks at the park, making up silly songs, dancing to music, or spoiling her family with her love of junk food, Cathy had a gift for turning ordinary moments into something special through the little ways she showed her love.

Her playful spirit was only matched by her fierce determination, strong will, and willingness to speak her mind. She was never afraid to tell you exactly what she thought. She loved her siblings wholeheartedly and was always ready to stand by their side when they needed her, even if, every now and then, that meant picking up a broom to knock some sense into them. She had a way of leaving an impression on everyone around her.

Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Kevin Tuttle, and her parents, Jason Clifford Love and Willie Dulin Love.

She is survived by her siblings, Betty, Pat, Ray, and Robert; her children, Christina, Kimberly, and Ricky; her beloved granddaughter, Rosie; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Cathy’s passing leaves a profound emptiness for her family and all those who knew and loved her. That emptiness is a reflection of just how deeply she was cherished. We were incredibly lucky to have shared our lives with her, and although saying goodbye is painful, she will remain forever in our hearts, always laughing, singing, and dancing in our memories.
